I'm Nathalie, and I started at Oliver Healthcare Packaging as the personal assistant to the CEO about three years ago. Then, COVID-19 happened and everything changed.
I realized I wanted more challenge, and unfortunately, the role of personal assistant didn't provide that for me. HR then worked with me to explore other options within Oliver. It was nice to see that they really wanted to think along about a role that better suited me. Shortly after that, I started as an SRD Analyst.
As an SRD Analyst, you're the heart of the production process. My responsibilities include carefully setting up the production process, striving for optimal quality and efficiency. We now have a new ticketing system to document issues and see how they were resolved in the past. This allows us to build on previous experiences.
I find my role as an SRD Analyst quite challenging, as no day is the same. Sometimes it can even be a bit chaotic because situations can arise that are more urgent at that moment. In those moments, I have to adjust my priorities. However, production is always the highest priority, and it must continue uninterrupted.
My transition to Oliver was a big change, especially after my previous work in the world of patents. What attracted me to Oliver was the location in Venray. I live here, so I can bike to work. Additionally, Oliver offers flexible working hours, which is a big plus for me. The first interview at Oliver made a strong impression on me. The sense of family and the pleasant atmosphere really appealed to me. That was the decisive reason for me to choose Oliver.
At Oliver, I feel valued. My colleagues are incredibly helpful and always willing to answer questions. We have an open culture that emphasizes collaboration and solution-oriented thinking. Everyone is open to new ideas, and there is room for different approaches.
I'm actually a workaholic, but taking a walk with a family member after work is the perfect way for me to relax. I also enjoy going to cozy terraces and visiting Maastricht, where my oldest daughter now lives.
The humor within our department is really enjoyable. We even have a 'Bad Jokes board' where bad jokes are kept track of. It's a fun way to keep the atmosphere light.
What makes my job the most enjoyable are my colleagues, the diversity of tasks, the flexibility, and the sense of family. At Oliver, the human aspect is central, and that became clear to me when I was able to quickly go to my mother when she had an accident. The human aspect is very important here.
Oliver also offers nice extras, like the bike plan and the fitness allowance. I personally use the bike plan, which allows me to ride my own bike to work every day.
I look forward to the implementation of SAP, a new database that is in the works. We're also looking forward to the arrival of new machines, which will allow us to gain new knowledge. Additionally, I'm excited about the planned events, such as the Christmas dinner/party and other enjoyable gatherings. The Summer Event from last summer was certainly a great success."
