I'm Sabrina, and over 11 months ago, I started working at Oliver Healthcare Packaging as a Quality Technician.

My role in the cleanroom, where I work with operators and inspectors, is all about ensuring quality. When questions arise about quality assurance, my colleagues in the cleanroom come to me or to the team leader. Together, we will then look at solutions and the possibilities.

Our team consists of eight members. With the growth of the company, we sometimes experience growing pains. That is why we act in the moment, set priorities and that makes our work challenging. Each customer has specific requirements, which makes for some variation. What makes my work most fun is the dynamics. The constant challenge, innovation and opportunities for growth make my work exciting.

My journey to Oliver started via a secondment company. They saw my profile on LinkedIn and invited me for an interview. With previous experience as an operator, I was looking for a job in quality. At Oliver, I was assessed not only on my education, but especially on my personal qualities. That immediately gave me a warm feeling and to this day I am given room for self-development and development. If I need something, it is seen at short notice how Oliver can help.

What sets Oliver apart from other employers, is that they genuinely listen to employees. Although there is not always time, time is made available if something is urgent. It is a learning point for me to indicate my needs even when I think my colleagues are too busy. They have encouraged me to raise the alarm, which feels familiar.

I would describe my colleagues as open, helpful and sociable. The mutual support is palpable, especially given the growth process we are going through. Employees are very supportive towards each other, which strengthens the commitment within the team.

Oliver organises regular outings and events, in which almost the whole company participates. A very enjoyable and active Summer Event had taken place this year and upcoming Christmas will also be celebrated in a big way. Sports outings are also organised regularly among themselves, where a hall is hired to play volleyball or football, for example.

Outside working hours, I like to enjoy the outdoors. As a Burgundian, I love good food and drink with friends and family. Hiking and yoga are among my favourite activities, for which I take advantage of Oliver's fitness allowance. I recently also made use of the General Social Fund for the Graphic Media Industry and the ASF Healthcare, an additional insurance linked to our Collective Labor Agreement. This fund covered part of the cost of my dental prosthesis, which my regular health insurance did not.

I am especially looking forward to further self-development. In my 11 months here, I have found the growth opportunities I was looking for. Oliver offers me the chance to expand my knowledge and I feel I can take steps for a bright future here.
