Potluck & Soccer Shirts

Nijmegen Marikenbrood, Portuguese Bolinhos de Bacalhau, German Reibekuchen, and a variety of Polish delicacies filled the tables during the Potluck at Oliver Healthcare Packaging. Colleagues enthusiastically brought their favorite homemade dishes, turning the Potluck into a wonderful opportunity to discover new flavors and learn more about each other's cultures.

The buffet featured a delicious mix of savory and sweet specialties. Homemade cheese sticks, Bolinhos de Bacalhau (crispy salted cod fritters), and traditional German Reibekuchen were among the savory favorites. The dessert table was equally impressive, offering traditional Polish blueberry pastries, filled Polish chocolates, and smoked cheese from Poland.

The Potluck was combined with Soccer Shirt Day. Although both the Netherlands and Germany had been eliminated from the World Cup the day before, many colleagues proudly wore orange shirts, German jerseys, or the colors of their favorite football clubs.

It was great to see how many colleagues contributed and how eager everyone was to taste each other's dishes. The variety of foods sparked conversations, encouraged people to share stories behind their favorite recipes, and gave colleagues the chance to experience specialties from different cultures. Bringing together people with diverse backgrounds and seeing everyone contribute with such enthusiasm perfectly reflects our core values: Win as a Team and Include & Empower.
